INSTALLATION OF CANTOR JACQUELINE MENAKER

Shirat Hayam’s Reform Spiritual Leader

Join us on Sunday, October 10,2021 at 11 am when we joyously celebrate the installation of our Reform Spiritual Leader, Cantor Jaqueline Menaker. This special event begins with a champagne reception in our pre-function room followed by the installation ceremony performed by Cantor Barbara Ostfeld. We are honored to have Cantor Ostfeld, at Shirat Hayam for this auspicious occasion. She is the first ordained female Cantor in Jewish history.

Following the ceremony, participants will enjoy a Gala Brunch catered by Philadelphia’s Panache Catering and will be entertained in-person and on Zoom. We will be treated to instrumental music and song by well-known Cantors from around the country. Invitations have been mailed and include tribute opportunity cards to honor Cantor Jacki. Return your response card by October 1, 2021 to make a reservation. Tickets for the installation event are $36 per person and include the ceremony, brunch, and musical performance. Raffle tickets for a spectacular luxury trip go on sale September 1st and can be purchased up until the Installation event. The winner will be announced at the Installation!
