December 20 – Guest Clergy – Rabbi Nathan Weiner


Rabbi Nathan Weiner will be joining us at the Reform Shabbat evening service at 7:30 PM at special invitation of Reform Spiritual Leader, Cantor Jacki Menaker. Rabbi Nathan previously served as the Director of Jewish Outreach and Engagement for the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and it’s family of agencies. Prior to his Federation work, he served as the rabbi of Congregation Beth Tikvah in Marlton, NJ.

Before becoming a rabbi, he spent many years as a Jewish Educator. After graduating from The George Washington University, he went on to become the director of teen education at Temple Rodef Shalom a Reform synagogue in Falls Church, Virginia (URJ). During his time as a Rabbinical Student at RRC, he worked as a teacher, hospital chaplain, and as a campus Jewish leader.

Rabbi Nathan is an accomplished author of Jewish educational materials for both Behrman House publishing and the Center for Jewish Ethics at the RRC, as

well as liturgical resources for RitualWell. Rabbi Nathan is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts. He lives in Merchantville, NJ with his husband, Samuel Warren.

The service will be accompanied by Joe Handler.
