Reading Megillat Eicha/Lamentations
The traditional reading the extended lament of the biblical Eicha has even deeper resonance for us today. The massacre of October 7 and its aftermath place the often horrific descriptions of the ancient attack on Jerusalem in a painful contemporary context.
